Pc nerds/nuts needed

I'm looking for the pc 'nerd' or a sub who knows alot about buying laptops/pcs

I'm looking into buying a new laptop but would like help in choosing whats the best one for me, I'd like it to have plenty of space for videos, pictures, word docs etc be able to play games if I like, dvd/cd rw, no small screens so I guess about 15", fast, a good brand would be brill. I dont want to spend more then £350. So if you know about laptops and can help send me afew helpful links (to my inbox) to show me what I'm looking for.
